Henry Hicks building closure April 13

The Henry Hicks will be closed all day Saturday, April 13 as there will be no power to the building because of electrical maintenance. The building will reopen at its regular time on Sunday morning.

Your Voice survey results presentation available online

If you were unable to attend the Your Voice Survey Results presentation held on April 10, the recording is now available to you. The presentation provided an overview of the university's results, recommendations and next steps.

Book Buyback is back

Beginning today until April 22, students can bring their used textbooks to the Dal Bookstore to sell.

While pursuing research aiming to restore Nova Scotia salmon habitats, Dr. Shannon Sterling and Dal alum Dr. Edmund Halfyard stumbled into the forefront of carbon dioxide removal science and a growing market demand to remove the gas from the atmosphere.

Solar power: Dal comes together to experience rare eclipse

Students and others marvelled at this week's rare solar eclipse during a public viewing on Studley Campus, catching a glimpse through solar filter-telescopes and glasses and creating a festival-like atmosphere on the quad nearby.
