Banner efforts
For the Dal Tigers, this past weekend emphasized the gold in "black and gold." The women's volleyball team won its eighth consecutive Atlantic University Sport title, while the men's basketball took home its fifth banner in six years.
Both teams now move onto the national U Sports championships. The men's basketball team, in search of its first ever national title, competes in Ottawa this weekend. The women's volleyball team, looking for its first national championship since 1982, heads to Calgary the following weekend.
