Do you want to learn about innovation and entrepreneurship? Do you want to contribute to the future of healthcare research? Do you want to help students understand aging and health?
Dalhousie’s Health Innovation Sandbox Pulse welcomes you to apply for the Healthy Aging Innovation Challenge! This four-month innovation program will teach you about the basics of innovation, while also providing mentorship and guidance towards developing an innovative solution to a healthy aging challenge.
Benefits of the program include:
- $500 honorarium upon program completion
- weekly innovation seminars
- work in teams with current Dalhousie graduate students, and older adults and caregivers to develop creative and innovative solutions to current aging challenges
The program starts in January and will run twice weekly every Tuesday from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. and Thursday from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. (except Winter Study Break). This is an in-person program on Dalhousie's campus.
Eligibility:
- Anyone at least 65 years or older OR caregiving for someone 65 years or older
- Able to participate at the in-person session
