Reminder that regular power will not be available Saturday August 13 to the following buildings starting at 7 a.m.

Please note that an additional three buildings on Carlton Campus will also have no regular power during the high voltage maintenance on Saturday August 13.

Please check the list below to determine if the building will be closed for the day or remain open with backup power.

The outages are as follows:

• Dunn Building - Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 from 7 a.m. – approximately 3 p.m. (Closed - Generator power will be provided to the -80 freezer in the basement only) - Outage to begin at 7am and expected to last for 6-8 hours
  
  
• Dentistry Building - Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 from 7 a.m. – approximately 9 p.m. (Closed - Back-up power to essential services only)
  
  
• Forrest Building - Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 from 7 a.m. – approximately 9 p.m. (Closed - Back-up power to essential services only)
  
  
• Burbidge Building - Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 from 7 a.m. – approximately 9 p.m. (Closed - Back-up power to essential services only)

And will now also include:  

• Tupper Building - Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 from 7 a.m. – approximately 9 p.m. (Open - There is full backup power)
  
  
• CHEB - Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 from 7 a.m. – approximately 9 p.m. (Closed - Back-up power to essential services only)
  
  
• LSRI - Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 from 7 a.m. – approximately 9 p.m. (Open - There is full backup power)

This shutdown is necessary to conduct critical five-year maintenance and we thank you for your understanding as we complete this essential work.
