Coaching and Assessments: Online and in-person ergonomic assessments and coaching sessions are currently available on a first-come first-served basis to Dal employees from now until July 1. The consultation will be completed by student occupational therapists on Fieldwork in the @WORK project. Each consultation session entails 45-60 minutes with a student occupational therapist (supervised by a licensed OT).
Sessions can be scheduled for Monday to Friday, between 8am-4pm by filling in the intake form found on my.dal: Consultation (sharepoint.com)
Self-paced ergonomic learning: There is also an ongoing opportunity to learn more about ergonomics through the Dal EHS Ergonomics Series, the self-assessment manual, and the free ergonomic fundamentals course available through the Faculty of Open Learning and Career Development.
