On Monday, November 29, Dal launched its seventh annual census. The ‘Be Counted’ campaign will run until December 3, to help increase awareness about the census and to improve the participation rate.
All faculty, staff and students are invited to complete the census. View the census video.
In 2019, the census questions changed, so we are asking all faculty and staff who have completed it in the past to do it again to ensure their information is accurate. This is particularly important for people with disabilities to help inform the university’s Accessibility Plan.
There are many groups that we still need self-identification information from, particularly students, part-time academics, casuals and facilities operational support staff.
Although the ‘Be Counted’ campaign runs every November, the census is available any time to complete through the dal.ca/BeCounted website. There is a Faculty/Staff census and a Student census.
