To make access to testing even more convenient for the Dal community, the university has collaborated with Nova Scotia Public Health to launch a self-swab COVID-19 rapid screening program for faculty, staff and students. Tests are available in the Collaborative Health Education Building (CHEB) rooms 140 and 150. Access to the building will be available using Summer Street entrance only.
Walk-in testing is now being offered. However, to ensure your timeslot is available, booking an appointment is recommended. Appointments can be booked up to three weeks in advance.
The next testing clinics are scheduled for:
- June 15: 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- June 17: 12:00 – 4:00
To book an appointment, please select the desired 15-minute timeslot from the DalCard Online Self-Service Website. You can find the appointments by clicking on the “purchase” tab and selecting “events.” Comprehensive instructions on how to book your appointment can be found here.
Plans are in early development for hosting on-campus rapid testing for faculty, staff and students in Truro this fall. In the meantime, Truro Campus individuals should seek asymptomatic testing through Nova Scotia Health.
