Position Title: Student Assistant
Department/Location: College of Sustainability, 1401 Mona Campbell Building
Posting Date: Monday, Jan.21, 2019

Start Date: as soon as possible, ending April 30, 2019
Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour, 5-15 hours per week, depending on events for the week
JOB DESCRIPTION: Looking for a dependable person to assist with the following duties:
1. SUST Community Meals
· Require availability on dates: Feb.13th, Mar.20th, Apr.3rd, 2019 (approx.6-9 hours on these dates)
· Must have experience working with food prep, and Food Hygiene (Handling) course
· Take responsibility for preparation (including shopping), organization, and clean-up of events
· Coordinate with Engagement Coordinator over menu and required supplies a week in advance
2. Set-up assistance for RBC-SLC modules
· Mar.13th and Mar.22nd, 2019 – approx. timings 3:30-7:00pm
· Assist with the set-up of classroom for weekend module
3. Study & Shop at the Tare Shop
· Feb 22nd, Mar.22nd, Apr.5th, 2019, timings 9am-12pm
· Go to Tare Shop to greet and interact with ESS students
4. Reading Week – Feb.19-22, 2019
· Coordinate, and oversee all scheduled events for this week
5. Other duties and events as they come up
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION
Successful applicants must be a current student of Dalhousie University and must have knowledge of the ESS program. Preference will be given to ESS students. Must be reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic, have excellent organizational skills. Must have flexibility in and outside of regular business hours
