Position: Part Time Academic – Winter 2019

Department:  Engineering

Pay Rate:  In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement

Work Assignment: This Part Time Academic will teach APSC 2008 Digital Electronics and Computer Interfacing in the Winter on the Truro Agricultural Campus.  The Winter offering is scheduled for Wednesday evenings from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and two additional Saturdays from January 7 – April 8th 2019. The Part Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, labs, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

Requirements: Education; teaching experience at university level with experience in Digital Electronics and computer interfacing with Technology Education in the school would be considered an asset. (e.g., MSc in Engineering/Applied Science). Demonstrated teaching effectiveness is required.  Excellent interpersonal skills.
