POSITION:                                        Part-time Academic

DEPARTMENT:                                Classics

PAY RATE:                                        as per CUPE contract

WORK ASSIGNMENT:  Part-time academic required to teach CLAS 2402: Introductory Latin Part II, TR 1305-1425 (Winter Term:  January-April 2019) and be responsible for the grading in the course.  This position is supervised by the Chair, Department of Classics.

REQUIREMENTS:  MA or PhD.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching Latin to undergraduates at the university level.

All offers of employment as a part-time academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.

REQUIREMENTS:  Ph.D.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching ancient languages at the university level.
