CHEM 1012B CONCEPTS IN CHEMISTRY II

One Lecture Assistant Position

January 2019 – April 2019

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:  Department of Chemistry

PAY RATE:  As per CUPE 3912 Agreement                          

WORK ASSIGNMENT:  The Instructor is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the specified class:  holding tutorials; holding office hours; preparing and grading assignments; tests and exams, and assisting with the laboratory component.  This position reports to the Chair of the Department of Chemistry.

REQUIREMENTS:  A minimum of a BSc in Chemistry or a related field and completion of a minimum of 1-year in a graduate program (MSc or PhD) in Chemistry or a related field. Previous teaching experience in chemistry at the University level is required. Course administrative (scheduling, organization and data entry) experience is also an asset.
