Dalhousie University will be hosting the 2018 CBIE Atlantic Regional Meeting in Halifax, May 24-25, 2018. Participants are encouraged to attend the Thursday evening reception as we set the tone for the conference.

This year's conference theme was inspired by Vernā Myers; well-known quote, "Diversity is being invited to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance".  As international educators, we are committed to advancing diversity and inclusive excellence within international education on an individual, institutional, and organizational level. This conference explores how international educational leaders are navigating the complex challenges associated with creating environments that promote social inclusion, diversity and intercultural learning.

During the conference, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss best inclusive practices in their areas. The goal is for participants to gain practical tools and resources that will improve quality of service and ultimately foster a diverse and inclusive community on their campuses.
