·         Set individual objectives in alignment with broader (team, unit, department, faculty) objectives

·         Plan, prioritize, break down tasks and carry out day-today work accordingly

• recognize how misaligned goals can result in a lack of clarity at work
• use a goal alignment worksheet
• clarify goals by asking questions
• utilize a Priority Matrix
