Three Minute Thesis Competition ‑ Seeking Judges

The Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) is seeking faculty/staff/postdoc judges for the annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT)  competition. 3MT is a unique skills development activity which challenges graduate students to present their research/thesis in three minutes or less to a non-specialist audience. Participants will be judged on how effectively they are able to communicate their ideas. There will be cash prizes available to the finalists, and the top finalist will also have the opportunity to compete at the Eastern Regional Competition in April.

The preliminary heats​ for this years competition, which is "supersized" for the 200th anniversary, take place over three days from March 5th -  March 7th.
