Position: 
Part-time Academic position, teaching course ANSC4006 (The Science of Modern Sheep Farming) in the 2018 Winter Semester.
 
Department Location: Haley Institute, Dalhousie Agricultural Campus

Pay Rate:  In accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement.

Work Assignment:
Lectures for this course are scheduled for Monday and Wednesday, 10:05 to 11:25.  The Part-time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation, involvement in laboratories and integration of laboratory assignments with course material.   The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

Requirements of Position:
 A Ph.D. in management, nutrition or physiology with concentration on sheep, or a Ph.D. in a ruminant animal discipline is required.  Sheep experience would be considered an asset.  At least one year experience teaching in post-secondary education, with excellent oral and written communication skills.  A Master's degree in these disciplines with two years of experience, would be given consideration.
