Looking for children and adolescents with down syndrome to participate in research study

Purpose: To study the English language and literacy skills of children and adolescents with Down syndrome.

Who can participate: Children with Down syndrome between the ages of 12 and 16 and who speak only English, and their parent(s)

What participants will be asked to do: Participants will be asked to read real words and pretend words, point to pictures and answer questions about the pictures, repeat short lists of numbers, and play short games on a computer.
Total testing time: approximately 2 hours.
