Position: Coordinator for Faculty of Science FIGS (First year interest groups)
July to December 2017
Pay rate: $6000

Work assignment The FIGS Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of the Fall 2017 first year interest groups in the Faculty of Science. Science FIGS run from September to December, with some preparatory work required during the summer months. This is a part-time, casual position. Total time commitment is expected to be about 200 hours.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a graduate degree in a science discipline, as well as some teaching or teaching assistant experience. Experience supervising or mentoring graduate or upper level undergraduate students is an asset.
