Instructor/Senior Instructor of Business

The Faculty of Agriculture invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) career stream appointment in Business at the rank of Instructor or Senior Instructor (dependent upon qualifications and expertise) commencing July 1, 2017. Applicants must have a professional designation (e.g., Chartered Professional Accountant) and/or a minimum of a master's degree (preferably in accounting/finance). Demonstrated experience employing experiential learning principles, knowledge of instructional design techniques, and experience implementing various models of curriculum delivery including onsite, online and blended learning is strongly desired.

The successful applicant will develop and teach courses in accounting, finance, and other business areas at the undergraduate and diploma levels; lead the process of program/curriculum renewal and revision; and serve as coordinator and academic advisor to students in the Diploma in Business Management and the Bachelor of Technology in Small Business Management programs. The ability to conduct research and produce scholarly works related to the incumbent's areas of teaching will be considered an asset.

The Department of Business and Social Sciences is one of four departments in the Faculty of Agriculture. The Department has a nationally recognized unique strength in agribusiness education and research, as well as education and research in applied and agricultural economics.
