Students from the Faculties of Engineering, and Architecture & Planning are invited to give their input and feedback into the design the IDEA (Innovative Design in Engineering & Architecture) Building planned for Sexton Campus. Click here for more information on the IDEA Building.

Staff, faculty and community members are also welcome to attend.

The first workshop is being held November 4, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Medjuck Building Exhibition Room on Sexton Campus.

This new academic building will provide modern space for students to learn the art of design through hands-on experience, and increase interaction and collaboration between students in the Faculties of Engineering, and Architecture & Planning.  The IDEA building will be home to a 450-seat auditorium, high bay workshops at grade level, prototyping workshops, studios, design commons and an innovation hub. The IDEA Building represents the first new construction academic building on Dalhousie’s Sexton Campus since the university merged with the Technical University of Nova Scotia (TUNS) in 1997.
