TEACHING ASSISTANT in the Contemporary Studies Programme

 POSITION: Teaching Assistant                                                       

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Contemporary Studies Programme

PAY RATE and HOURS: matches CUPE agreement at Dalhousie                                                  

WORK ASSIGNMENT: marking and conducting tutorials in CTMP 3000 X/Y, “Science and Culture”, includes attending the lecture and meeting with students.

CLASS TIME:  Lecture:  Mondays, 10:35am-12:25; tutorial:  Wednesdays, 11:35-12:25

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

This is a year-long lecture/seminar class in contemporary issues in history, philosophy and social studies of science and technology -- “Science and Technology Studies”.  Some familiarity in these fields would be a strong asset.
