The Atlantic Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health will be closing its doors this year as our funding has ended effective March 31, 2013.

The Atlantic Centre of Excellence for Women's Health was one of four national Centres of Excellence for Women's Health funded by Health Canada through the Women’s Health Contribution Program. We have been dedicated to conducting policy-oriented research aimed at improving the health status of Canadian women by making the health system more aware of and responsive to women's health needs. The Centre has been in operation for the past sixteen years.

We will be hosting a closing celebration for the Centre at the NS Archives on March 27, 2013. Refreshments will be served to guests from 3 pm until 7 pm.

There will be a date announced shortly when interested groups or individuals may come and peruse our library and take materials that will be of use to them.
