POSITIONS:  1 Marker January - April, 2013]
                             
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:  Bachelor of Management
 
Marker PAY RATE:  $14.63 hour(max 50 hours)
                                                           
MARKER(S) WORK ASSIGNMENT:
 
The markers will assist with the following courses:  Management 2101 - Introductory Financial Accounting (1 position)
 
Duties include, but are not limited to:  
1 Marking assignments, quizzes, exams and turning them around in a timely manner (within 5 days of their due date)
2 Meeting with faculty on a weekly basis for pickup and drop off of assignments, quizzes, and exams
3 Proctoring of all exams - mandatory
4 May have to hold meetings with students and faculty to review marks and may have to assist with tutorials and/or extra help sessions if needed.
 
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:     Must have experience experience marking Introductory Financial Accounting (at least 1-2 terms).  Must have completed the above course with an A- or better.  Must have a very good overall academic record (high GPA).  Must be well organized and have good interpersonal skills.  Experience delivering tutorials and/or extra help sessions or tutoring would be considered an asset.
