Dr Ngo Chun Luk, Researcher with the Centre for European Policy Studies in Brussels, will speak on this topical subject and then respond to questions in a Q&A period.

SPEAKER BIO: Ngo Chun Luk is Researcher in the Justice and Home Affairs unit at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), where his research focuses on European citizenship, migration, asylum and fundamental rights. He obtained his PhD in Law at Maastricht University, with a focus on diaspora, citizenship rights and quasi-citizenship. Before he joined CEPS, he was involved in the development of the MACIMIDE Global Expatriate Dual Citizenship dataset and the Involuntary Loss of European Citizenship (ILEC) project. He is the co-author of the recent study "In the name of COVID: An Assessment of the Schengen Internal Border Controls and Travel Restrictions in the EU".
