Architecture lecture by Edwin Chan

Edwin Chan, architect and founder of the Los Angeles-based collaborative design studio EC3, will present a lecture titled “A Creative Journey.” Edwin will discuss the Design Process from Concept to Execution; using examples from his experience at Gehry Partners to his current Cross-Disciplinary practice at EC3. As a design partner with Frank Gehry between 1985 and 2011, Edwin has led the design of some of the firm’s most celebrated projects such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the Foundation Louis Vuitton in Paris. Additionally, Edwin will present ongoing and recent projects at his current practice EC3 that is focused on creating spaces for arts and culture, with works that engage design, architecture and urbanism of all scales in the US and abroad.​​
