Facilitators: Arig al Shaibah (Vice Provost Student Affairs) and Howard Ramos (Associate Dean Research, FASS)
Support Persons: Elder Billy Lewis, Jen Davis (Access Centre Advisor), Kyoko Hattori (Health and Wellness Psychologist)

For Self-Identified Indigenous Students:
Friday., March 2, 4:30-6:30pm, Student Union Building (room 303) (Rescheduled from Jan 31)
Facilitators: Aaron Prosper (Student and Past President of Dalhousie Indigenous Students Collective) and Patti Doyle Bedwell (Professor/Native Studies Instructor)
Support Persons: Elder Billy Lewis and Michele Graveline (Indigenous Student Advisor)

The Vice Provost Student Affairs has created a small Inclusion Advisory Team comprising students, staff and faculty to facilitate discussions with students on strategies to improve campus inclusion. 

Discussions will inform Dalhousie’s Diversity & Inclusiveness Strategy which identifies four priorities:

1) Climate and Intergroup Relations: contributing to a campus culture that fosters a climate of respect and inclusion;  
2) Student Access and Success: improving educational equity and support for historically under-represented/served students;
3) Education and Research: creating more diverse and inclusive academic programs and classroom practices; and
4) Organizational Vitality and Viability: enhancing institutional ability to achieve equity, diversity and inclusion goals.
