Budget discussion forum

Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend one of two discussion forums on priorities for the 2018-19 operating budget. The forums will include a short presentation on the university’s operating budget, followed by a facilitated discussion on pressures and priorities. Your input will help shape recommendations for balancing next year’s budget.

PLEASE NOTE the change in location (Jacob Slonim Conference Room, room 430, fourth floor, Goldberg Computer Science Building, 6050 University Avenue).

An alternate session takes place, same location and time, on Thursday, January 18.

In mid-December, Dalhousie’s Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) issued a report on Balancing Dalhousie’s Operating Budget [PDF]. This document includes highlights of the background issues/factors that influence the development of the budget and is released prior to the BAC preliminary report to encourage input from students, faculty, staff and others before any recommendations for 2018-19 are developed.
