Dalhousie ESL Programs Free Workshop Series: The World of Nouns
Throughout the academic year, Dalhousie ESL Programs offers free workshops to help students review and expand their knowledge of the English language. All Dalhousie students are invited to drop in for a different topic each week to develop speaking and listening skills for a variety of contexts and improve their academic writing through a focus on grammar. Each workshop is self-contained, so students can come to just a few, or come to every workshop.
Fall 2017 workshops are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30, September 12-November 23, in Mona Campbell Room 2110.
Today's workshop topic is:
The World of Nouns
Many grammatical errors happen at the level of the noun. In this workshop, you will examine this most basic of grammatical building blocks in order to write more accurately and in a more academic register.
