Health Geography Talk at the IWK
The science of health geography investigates how space and place
influence people's health. This session will provide attendees with an overview of health geography, with some recent applications of health geography research in Nova Scotia. The presenters will also demonstrate the Nova Scotia Health Atlas - a web-based data and analytic tool, which is being developed to promote health research and health service planning through a geographic lens.
