Women’s volleyball player Lucy Glen-Carter has been named a U SPORTS First Team All-Canadian at the U SPORTS All-Canadian Award ceremony in Vancouver, BC.
The outside hitter played in every set for the Tigers this season leading the team in kills with 368 and setting the Dalhousie single season record for kills. This season the fourth-year Master of Physiotherapy student also broke the 1000 career kills mark.
Glen-Carter was named a U SPORTS Player of the Week three times this season and a Tigers Athlete of the Week four times. The AUS Most Valuable Player was also named the AUS Championship MVP.
The Tigers play their U SPORTS quarter-final game on Friday, March 17, at 5pm AT versus the UQAM Citadins.
