(Halifax, N.S.) - Dalhousie University presents our MUSCLE MLK Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, December 1, 2019.
Fabiana Petricca, Hockey
Fourth-year goaltender Fabiana Petricca is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Female Athlete of the Week.
Fabiana led the Tigers to a 4-3 win over l’Université de Moncton Saturday night.
She turned away 21 shots in the game, keeping the Aigles Bleues offence at bay.
A kinesiology student, Fabiana is from Woodbridge, Ont.
Matt Green, Hockey
First-year forward Matt Green is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Male Athlete of the Week.
Matt led the Tigers to a win and a loss last week.
He scored the Tigers second goal of the night in their 3-2 win over UPEI in Charlottetown Saturday night.
He also scored two goals on four shots in the Tigers loss to the StFX X-Men Wednesday night.
A native of Hammonds Plains, N.S., Matt is an arts student.
