Annabel Gravely, Soccer

First-year goalkeeper Annabel Gravely is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Female Athlete of the Week.

Annabel led the Tigers to a 1-1 draw with the Acadia Axewomen last week.

She recorded nine saves in the match against the U SPORTS No. 6 ranked team, earning Subway Player of the Game honours.

She is currently second in the AUS in save percentage and third in goals against.

An integrated science student, Annabel is from Toronto, Ont.

Xavier Ochu, Basketball

Third-year guard Xavier Ochu is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Male Athlete of the Week.

Xavier led the Tigers to two wins in Ontario over the weekend.

A leading force on the defensive end, he scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the Tigers 75-56 win over the Ryerson Rams Saturday night.

On Sunday, he added another 16 points in the Tigers 79-57 victory over the York Lions to improve their pre-season record to 5-0.

A native of Milton, Ont., Xavier is an arts student.
