(Halifax, N.S.) - Dalhousie University presents our MUSCLE MLK Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 17, 2019.

Robertha Charles, Basketball

Third-year forward Robertha Charles is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Female Athlete of the Week.

Robertha led the Tigers to a win and a loss over the weekend.

On Friday night, she led the way for the Tigers in their 76-72 win over the visiting UNB Reds with 16 points, seven rebounds and one steal.

In Saturday night’s 78-59 loss to the Reds, she led the way again, chipping in nine points, four rebounds, and a steal and assist in loss to UNB Saturday night.

A sociology major, Robertha is from Montreal, Q.C.

Xavier Ochu, Basketball

Second-year guard Xavier Ochu is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Male Athlete of the Week.

Xavier led the Tigers to a pair of wins at home over the weekend.

He scored 14 points, making six of eight shots from the field and two of three from beyond the arc in Friday night’s 80-72 win over the visiting UNB Reds. He also added two steals and assists and played an impressive defensive game.

On Saturday, he played 37 minutes and earned a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, earning Subway Player of the Game honours in the Tigers 78-70 win over the Reds.

A native of Milton, Ont., Xavier is an arts student.
