With the fall season of Dal’s 200th anniversary year in full swing, students, faculty/staff and community members got the opportunity to share in the excitement all week long on campus.

Over the course of last week, the Dal 200 team visited all four Dalhousie campuses, holding "pop-up" events outside the Student Learning Commons in Truro on Monday; on Sexton Field and on the Carleton Quad Tuesday; and as part of the DSU's Society & Volunteer Expo on the Study Quad Thursday.

Visitors to the pop-ups enjoyed ice cream cones, picked up Dal 200 buttons, and entered draws to win prizes (like free tickets to Shaun T’s community workout that took place this Saturday).

They also learned more about some of the exciting Dal 200 events still to come this year. The schedule includes Homecoming; Belong Forums featuring Temple Grandin, Angela Davis and Rick Hansen; the “Great Debate” and more.
