Courtney Baker, Volleyball
Third-year setter Courtney Baker is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Female Athlete of the Week.
Courtney led the Tigers to the U SPORTS National championship this past weekend.
She had 35 assists, 13 digs, five kills, four block assists and three aces in the Tigers 3-2 loss to the number three ranked UBC Thunderbirds in U SPORTS quarter-final action.
A U SPORTS first team all-Canadian, she added 22 assists and eight digs in the Tigers 3-0 loss to the Montreal Carabins in the consolation semifinal.
A kinesiology student, Courtney is from Bridgewater, N.S.
