Meagan McKenna, Soccer

Fifth-year striker Meagan McKenna is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Female Athlete of the Week.

Meagan scored two goals in the Tigers 5-0 win over the Mount Allison Mounties on Saturday afternoon in Sackville, N.B.

She had five shots on net during the game and found the back of the net for her first goal of the season in the 35th minute to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead. She scored again just four minutes later to extend the lead to three heading into halftime.

A science student, Meagan is from Halifax, N.S.

Kallen Heenan, Soccer

Third-year striker Kallen Heenan is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Male Athlete of the Week.

Kallen earned a hat trick in the Tigers 6-1 victory over the Mount Allison Mounties Saturday afternoon in Sackville, N.B.

He recorded five shots on net during the match, getting his first goal just 45 seconds into the start of the game. He found the back of the net again late in the first half, helping the Tigers take a 4-1 lead into the break.

Keenan added his third of the game in the 61st minute, giving the Tigers a 6-1 win. He now leads all Tigers in scoring with five goals and is just two shy of the lead of the AUS scoring race.

A native of Dartmouth, N.S., Keenan is a management student.
