In October and November, members of Dalhousie's United Way team visited different buildings to spread awareness about this year's campaign and ask for your support.

Thank you for taking a moment to learn about the amazing work being done by the United Way in the community you call home. No donation is too small!

Purchase your United Way 50/50 draw tickets at the game. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5. Last year’s winner took home $1,643, with the other half going to support much needed programs and resources in our community. 

The draw will be held on December 20 at Dalhousie and you don’t have to be onsite to win (so SMU fans, you can buy tickets too).Tickets will be available at a table by the main door.

Halloween Costume Contest (Halifax)
12 p.m., Lord Dalhousie Room, Henry Hicks Building
Get in the Halloween spirit to support the United Way! Judges from the United Way committee will award a prize for the best costume. The entry fee is $5 with all proceeds going to the United Way. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t have a costume to enter. 50/50 tickets will also be on sale. Hosted by Human Resources.

50/50 Draw (Truro) 
Tickets are $2.00 each; three for $5.00 or the special – Dean’s Arm Length (measured) 16 tickets for $10.00. Available from various sellers around campus.
