The Department of Earth Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate (MSc and PhD) programs, training toward professional registration as a Geoscientist, and numerous elective courses suitable for those seeking a broad understanding of Earth.
The facilities which support these programs span teaching labs for undergraduate courses to major research labs, as well as intensive field schools and other experiential learning opportunities in Nova Scotia, the U.S. southwest, and beyond.
Our Student Societies are an important 'glue' that serve to help students achieve their academic goals, develop professional connections and, also important-- have fun!
