Dalhousie EES student-alumni reception and speaker series

The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences is pleased to host a public lecture by Gavin Kennedy (P.Geo, FGC), with Nova Scotia's Department of Environment and Climate Change. Gavin brings his expertise in hydrogeology to an important and timely topic: "Hidden Hazards: Uncovering Geogenic Contaminants in Nova Scotia’s Private Water Wells."

Pre-Lecture Social (starts at 5:30 PM):
Join us for a social gathering prior to the lecture, with refreshments and beverages provided. This will be a great opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, faculty, students professionals in the field.

  • Lecture will start at 6:15 PM (room 338, Life Sciences Centre).
  • Free parking on campus after 4PM.
  • Please RSVP VIA EVENTBRITE BEFORE OCTOBER 3.

For those driving to Dal, parking is free after 4:30pm in the Life Sciences parking lot between King's, NRC, and McCain Learning Commons. You can enter the Biology Tower through the 2nd floor entrance on the north side of the LSC building. Take the stairs or elevator up to the third floor and find us in Room 3124. There will be signs and students around to help with directions in the building.
