Sciographies - Sciographies is a podcast and radio program on CKDU 88.1 FM (Halifax, NS). The show introduces listeners to scientists at Dalhousie. Each episode explores events in the guest’s life that led to a career in science, while also exploring their research. The third season will be out next week!
Dal Science from a Distance - It’s safe to say that the transition to online education in response to the COVID-19 pandemic has led many members of the Dalhousie on a learning curve. Science instuctors create virtual field trips for online fall term - With COVID-19 restrictions in place for the fall semester, Earth and Environmental Sciences instructor Mike Young and his team are using modern visualization techniques to build over 20 virtual field trips, complete with 3D models, video footage, photogrammetry and other high-resolution visualizations.
