A Pathway to Dalhousie for International Students

Are you an international student who does not meet the academic and English language proficiency requirements for admission to Dalhousie University?

The International Pathway Year (IPY) Program is designed to help you complete a qualifying year and improve your English fluency to meet admission requirements for undergraduate studies at Dalhousie University.

This unique 8-month program combines five non-credit University Preparation courses, one credit course, and intensive English language training and support, preparing you to progress into your degree program. Please visit our FAQ page for more information.

After successful completion of the IPY Program, you will directly enter your chosen undergraduate program at Dalhousie.
