Research interests

Miguel is interested in the effects various assessment models have on language learners’ measured proficiency, and the effectiveness of using adaptive testing to improve validity and fairness in language testing situations. In addition, he is interested in the possibility of using a universal design for assessment to reduce the need for individual student accommodations.
