Research interests

Dr. Liu’s work focuses on the field referring to eco-industrial development, urbanization and sustainability and climate change.  Specifically, his researches are dedicated to respond increase greenhouse gas emission, decreased sustainability among the industrial systems associated with economic system, ecological system and resource and environmental system by implementing eco-industrial strategies. Based on the researches, identifying opportunities and barriers during the process are conducted so that appropriate policy implications can be proposed in order to implement such eco-industrial strategies into the reality. So far, he has published around 40 international scientific papers as well as conference presentations in his field.
