I would like to extend my congratulations to the MLIS students involved in this year’s Management Without Borders course, which culminated last night in a public presentation of posters of the various client-based projects undertaken by the interdisciplinary MBW groups. These groups consisted of students from the Rowe School of Business, SIM, the School of Public Administration, the School of Resource and Environmental Studies, and the Marine Affairs Program. The quality of the posters and their associated projects was of an exceptional quality and stands as a testament to the strength and benefit of interdisciplinary approaches to address real-world projects. While several faculty and staff were involved with MBW, I would like to thank in particular Professor Sandra Toze, who was the SIM faculty liaison. I would like to thank also the students from the Master of Information Management, who attended the event while they were in town for their two-day intensive session. We at SIM are very proud of your work.
