The eight members of the Dalhousie University Sailing Team returned home this week with silver medals from the World University Sailing Championships, which concluded November 3 in La Rochelle, France.
14 teams from 12 countries competed at the event with the Irish team taking top spot.
Ted Murphy was skipper of the Dal Team with crew members Jacob Chaplin-Saunders, Graeme Chaplin-Saunders, Dave Castle, Justin Hall, Danielle Boyd, Ryan Himmelman and Valerie Keast.
The regatta was run in Grand Surprise 30 keelboats.
