Invitation and Call for Papers
Dalhousie University is pleased to invite paper submissions for the 2023 Canadian Sustainable Finance Network (CSFN) Annual Conference to be hosted by the Faculty of Management (FoM) on June 22–23, 2023. This in-person fourth CSFN conference welcomes academic researchers and industry practitioners to discuss the latest sustainable finance research and the economic and societal impact of the transition to a green and low-carbon economy, and promote innovations and best practices for sustainable finance education. CSFN’s goal is to support the transition of Canada’s financial system to one in which sustainable growth is engrained in investment decisions, business practices, government policies and education programs.
We expect to have 15 to 20 academic papers, with a session specifically tailored for emerging scholars and graduate (PhD) students. We will have a practitioner panel focused on the growing importance of sustainable finance.
CSFN2023 will feature presentations and discussions of original, unpublished studies on sustainable finance focusing on, but not limited to, sustainable investing, CSR and ESG: performance and disclosure, greenwashing, climate finance and climate change risk, and sustainable finance education.
