Halifax Corporate Tour
On the Halifax Corporate Tour participating students will visit well-known organizations from various industries. Besides gaining an inside perspective of the organizations' working environment, students will have an opportunity to expand their networks by meeting and mingling with working industry professionals.
Commerce, Management or CRMBA students interested in gaining an inside perspective of businesses in Halifax are encouraged to attend the Halifax Corporate Tour. A full list of the companies participating will be available as soon as it is confirmed. Since participation is limited to 15 spots per tour stream, be sure to register early!

You will be charged a $100 cancellation fee if you cancel less than 30 days prior to the event, or if you do not participate fully in the event itinerary.

On the Halifax Corporate Tour, participating students will be grouped in two streams. Each stream will visit three businesses during the tour.
|Information Session||Find out about the tour, the potential employer participants, the format and how you can be successful on this event by attending a Corporate Tour Information Session. The Information Session for the Nov. 2018 tour has already taken place.|
|Prep Session||All participants must attend the Prep Session.|
Registration to attend both of our Nov. 2108 tour streams is currently full. Interested students can still submit their registration to be put on a waitlist should any spots open up.
Space will be limited to 15 participants per tour stream, and is on first-come, first-served basis. Registrations will be accepted through myCareer, under Management Career Services, Corporate / Career Discovery Tours.

Participant Resume Book
MCS is putting together a Resume Book which will be circulated to all participating organizations. This will contain the resumes of all participants. To ensure you make the best impression with your documents, each resume will be reviewed by a Career & Recruitment Specialist. Once reviewed, your resume will be returned to you with comments. You will have 48 hours to make changes to your resume and send it back to MCS.
Resume Book Criteria
To ensure your document will fit in the Resume Book, please ensure your resume follows these criteria:
- Use MS Word
- Do not use a template
- Set your margins to 'normal' (2.54 cm/1" on all sides) so that none of your document will be cut off in the binding process
- Create and use a professional Dalhousie email address
- Remain consistent in your font throughout your document
- Do not insert page numbers
- Recommend using right aligned dates
- Maximum resume length is two pages
