The Halifax Colloquium 2025: Accountability for Corruption – In Canada and the World

Schulich Law Professor Rob Currie, KC, Viscount Bennett Professor of Law, invites you to a panel discussion on global and Canadian anti-corruption efforts featuring a proposal for an international anti-corruption court, as well as a look at how shadowy Catholic organization Opus Dei has avoided accountability for corruption.

Chaired by Currie, the Colloquium will feature Gareth Gore, financial journalist and author of OPUS: The Cult of Dark Money, Human Trafficking and Right-Wing Conspiracy Inside the Catholic Church, and Allan Rock, former Canadian ambassador to the United Nations and President Emeritus of the University of Ottawa.
