Information Session with the BC Prosecution Service (Virtual)

The Career Development Office invites Schulich Law students to a virtual information session with members of the BC Prosecution Service (BCPS) where they will be discussing the upcoming 2026-2027 Articling Student Competition opening in February 2025.

Panel members include:

David Grabavac: David graduated with a BSc in physics and math from the University of Victoria in 1988, an LLB from the University of Alberta in 1993, and an LLM from Dalhousie in 1994. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1996 and has been a member of BCPS since 2000. David has prosecuted files ranging from traffic tickets to first degree murder in both Northern British Columbia and the Southern Interior, and is currently the most senior Crown Counsel in the Water Street Kelowna Crown Counsel office.

Trevor Sicotte: Trevor graduated with a BA in political science from the University of Victoria in 2014, and with a JD from the University of Manitoba in 2020. He articled and practiced with a defence firm in Manitoba until 2022 when he moved to British Columbia and began working with BCPS.

Megan Rahme: Before attending law school Megan graduated with a BSc in biology from McMaster University, where she served as a founding member of its mock trial competition and an active participant in provincial mock trials. She graduated from the Schulich School of Law in 2023 with her JD and a specialization in criminal justice. During her time at Dal she worked with the Elizabeth Fry Society and the Dartmouth Crown Counsel Office.
