Law Hour: "Fit" or "Misfit" – Navigating Big Firm Recruitment as a Woman Studying Law

Law Hour has teamed up with The Dalhousie Feminist Legal Association this month to partner with McInnes Cooper to present "Fit or Misfit?" Navigating Big Firm Recruitment as a Woman Studying Law.

The panellists for this discussion are:

  • Partner Lawyer Catherine Watson Coles (she/her)
  • Associate Lawyer Rebecca Khan (she/her)
  • Associate Lawyer Natasha Puka (she/her)
  • McInnes Cooper Law Student Tarah Sawler (she/her)

Each panellist brings a unique perspective on navigating recruitment and working as a new lawyer for a big law firm.

This panel aims to shed light on what can be a mysterious and intimidating process for woman identifying students and to work toward breaking down some of the barriers that may prevent woman identifying students from applying to big law firms.
