Mini Law School on the Road

As part of Dal's 200th anniversary celebrations, we're taking some of our Mini Law School public lectures on the road!

Animals hold important and varied places in people’s lives. On one hand, they are family members and cherished companions. On the other, they are zoo exhibits, food, and research subjects. How does Canadian law serve their interests, and how does it fail to protect them?

In this session, Professor Jodi Lazare will discuss explores the ways the law governs our complicated relationships with animals and the many challenges involved in balancing our interests and theirs.
